I’m a nature and wildlife photographer from India.

I grew up in Bangalore in the 90s. What is now HSR Layout was a marsh that I often visited to see birds, snakes, and the occasional jackal. The area behind Silk Board held large open plots with tall reeds and waders. That is probably where my interest in the lesser known, the plateaus, grasslands, deserts, and other areas where one least expects wildlife, comes from.

As for how I came to love wildlife, I don’t know. It has always been around, for as long as I can remember.

Photography is how I stay connected to wildlife. I bought my first camera in 2006. For many years, photography sat alongside a full-time job in marketing. Most of my time in the wilderness came during weekends and vacations.

 In 2024, I stepped away from that to be able to spend more time in the wild.
